Dear Home School Family,

Thank you for your interest in testing with Basic Skills at the Classical Conversations Wilsonville location on Wednesday, May 6th. The test date is earlier this year and will be here before you know it! The test we will be using is the Terra Nova III. Test registration will be done online in advance of the day of testing. While the deadline to register is Sunday, May 3rd, seating is limited. We encourage you to register early to insure securing your student(s) place.

Here’s how to register…

Below the Form Instructions beginning at the top of the registration form, you’ll see Date and Host for Test. Click the “host date” circle. To the right of the various dates listed, you will see “other” which is right below “Basic Skills.” Click the “Other” circle. Complete the Group Leader’s Name (Alice Emmett). Then, input the Group Test Date (May 6th). Finally, input the testing location: Classical Conversations Wilsonville. The rest of the form is self-explanatory and directions are provided at the top of the form. Once the form is complete, choose and click how you want to pay. Venmo, Paypal, and debit/credit card are all options.

Regular testing fees are $67.00 for the Basic Report and $15 for the optional PER report. A $10.00 materials fee applies for third grade only.

8:15-9:00         Check in for grades 4-12

9:00- 11:45      Testing for grades 3-12

What to bring:

  • pencilTwo pencils: Each student should bring two sharpened pencils.
  • calculatorA calculator: Calculators may be used for one of the two math tests that will be given. We recommend the use of a calculator if your student typically uses one to complete their daily schoolwork. All math problems can be solved without the use of a calculator.  Scratch paper will be provided for all students. 
  • A snack: Students may bring a light snack as there will be a snack break midway through the testing.
