Help Elevate Learning Processing, Inc

HELP is a non-profit, non-discriminatory Oregon Corporation. On the Marylhurst University Campus since 1984, HELP offers testing, evaluation, and treatment for adults and children with learning problems.

HELP provides DRUG FREE cognitive therapy for ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia and many other information processing difficulties. HELP’s treatment is different from tutoring. Failure to learn effectively may be symptomatic of problems processing, storing, and retrieving information.

HELP tests and evaluates each student’s information processing abilities and identifies underdeveloped cognitive functions. The test results can reveal the reasons behind the student’s learning difficulties so steps can finally be taken to correct them at the source.

Privately Developed Plans

Is your student struggling academically? Would having a Privately Developed Plan (PDP) written specifically for your child with recommended textbooks and learning materials be a help to you? Would you like the pressure of mandatory achievement testing removed?

Jilene Modlin M.Ed. is our preferred PDP provider. She has more than thirty years of education knowledge and training for working with students needing unique learning approaches as well as accessing alternative education settings. She has developed connections throughout the state to bridge homeschooling, traditional school, education testing (private and ESD), as well as offer personalized support through advising or personalized learning plans.
