Deadline for Testing In Oregon Approaching
The deadline for testing in Oregon is August 15, 2026 for 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 10th grades. Basic Skills still has room in our remote testing groups for grades 3rd through 12th. Testing to comply with Oregon homeschool law is very important. Besides testing for compliance, why else would you choose to test the other grade years and why now?
Here are three reasons:
- To participate in OSAA Sports or Activities: Students are required to test every year.
- To establish a baseline of performance: Testing at the end of the year allows you to see what kind of progress has been made.
- To help you with curriculum decisions. If you are finding your student’s curriculum to be too easy or too hard, an achievement test will provide a comparison of your student’s performance with other students nationwide.
If you have not tested yet and would like to, or if you know someone who needs to as well, please reach out to us! Open spots are filling up quickly. Below is our contact information and a list of dates still available.
